In short
How to choose the finish of linear LED luminaires, from black and white to custom RAL colours and metallic finishes, to suit your interior.

The finish of a linear luminaire changes how it reads in a space. The same profile can disappear into a ceiling or become a bold graphic line.
White
White blends into white ceilings, so the light line reads as architecture rather than an object. It is the default for recessed and surface-mounted schemes.
Black
Black makes suspended linear a deliberate design element, especially against exposed soffits, timber or dark ceilings. It is the most popular pendant finish in contemporary workplaces.
Custom RAL and special finishes
Custom colours can match joinery, brand colours or metalwork. Special finishes, such as metallic, bronze or textured paints, can be specified for bespoke projects.
Tips
- Match suspension cables and fittings to the body colour
- Check the finish sample under the project's actual colour temperature
- Keep finishes consistent across different ranges in one space
