In short
Why architects and clients are specifying UK-manufactured linear LED lighting, and what the Made in Britain mark means for your project.

More clients are asking where their building products are made. For lighting, choosing UK manufacture can shorten lead times, simplify made-to-measure orders and support sustainability goals.
What Made in Britain means
The Made in Britain mark is awarded to products manufactured in the UK by members of the Made in Britain organisation. Clyde is the first Made in Britain certified product in the 299 Lighting range, designed and manufactured in the UK.
The benefits for your project
- Lead times: shorter supply chains and fewer shipping delays
- Made to measure: custom lengths without long international lead times
- Sustainability: lower transport distances can support embodied carbon and ESG reporting
- Support: easier site visits, samples and aftercare
